

What are the steps to Remote Online Notary Service?

2. Secure the necessary technology: We recommend a computer with a stable internet connection, webcam, and a smartphone. However, only using your smartphone is acceptable. Learn more.
3. Review your document. It must be complete except for signatures and in digital format such as a pdf (preferred), word document or a scanned image saved as JPG, PNG, JPEG, or HEIC.
4. Ensure that the recipient of the document will accept online notarizations. Learn more.
5. Book online at the earliest time available or at your preferred time. The online calendar will automatically adjust to your time zone anywhere in the United States. The time you see is aligned with your time zone and our availability. You will be prompted to read and agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy, upload your document and pay the $15 fee when booking online.
6. Gather your identification (U.S. driver's license or U.S. passport) before the meeting.
7. Join the online meeting by clicking on the meeting link in your email at your chosen time.
8. Verify your identity during the meeting by sharing pictures of your ID and answering 5 knowledge base authentication (KBA) questions. Learn more.
9. Choose an electronic signature and sign during the meeting.
10. Relax! When your identity has been verified, I'll notarize the document and email it to you immediately after the meeting.
