All services are billed at a rate of $5 per notarial act (e.g., jurat, acknowledgment), plus a $10 technology fee per session. Fees are assessed per notarial act, not per signature. Accepted Payment Methods Notary Service Nearby LLC uses trusted third-party payment processors, including but not limited to Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, to securely process your payments. All payments must be submitted in full through our secure website prior to the scheduled notarial session. Services will not be rendered unless payment is received and confirmed. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that: • Your payment and personal information may be collected, processed, stored, or shared by these third-party platforms according to their own privacy policies and terms of service. • Notary Service Nearby LLC does not control and is not responsible for the data collection, security practices, or usage policies of these third-party providers. • It is your responsibility to review the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party payment system you choose to use. • Notary Service Nearby LLC disclaims any liability for loss, theft, unauthorized use, disclosure, or misuse of your information by any third-party payment processor. By completing a transaction through our website or services, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Notary Service Nearby LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, or liability arising out of or related to your use of third-party payment services. 4. Refund Policy • If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session or fail to attend the session, no refund will be issued unless a verified emergency or extenuating circumstance is presented. 4. Non-Refundable Technology Fee A $10 non-refundable technology fee is charged for all scheduled Remote Online Notarization (RON) appointments. By booking an appointment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following conditions under which this fee will not be refunded: 1. Late Cancellation: <24 hours 2. Client-Side Technical Issues. 3.Identity Verification Failure. By proceeding with the scheduling of a remote notarization, the client further agrees not to dispute or initiate a chargeback with their credit card issuer or financial institution regarding the non-refundable $10 technology fee, having acknowledged these terms at the time of booking.
